WALT: identify polygons by their properties.

We worked collaboratively in a group to watch this video and answer questions to develop our knowledge of polygons before we are challenged to make a net for a pyroxene crystal!

What are the three parts that make up polygons?
Sides
Vertices (corners)
Angles

How do polygons relate to 3D shapes?
3D shapes can be made out of polygons. Polygons are their faces.

What is a regular polygon?
Has equal sides and angles.

What are the names of some types of polygons?
